Benny’s Journal

15/08/08
Today our group accomplished a lot of stuff including making buttons for all our pages, finding backgrounds for all our pages and making Titles for all our pages. I made buttons for all of the web pages {about seven} and started work on the “About Us” page. I found out that “Flash” is actually a very simple program to use if you know how to use it. Next week I hope to have finished applying the title to the pages. I think that my group and I did a lot of work and did more than enough for this lesson.
The programs we used were Photo impact XL Flash and Dreamweaver.  

20/08/08
Today half our group was away and there for we didn’t get much work done. But we still managed to finish establishing half of the web pages and got most of the buttons finished. We used Photo impact XL and Dreamweaver. Thorburn worked on the buttons and I worked on establishing the website. I learned just how much work the other members of my group did and how hard it was to do the things without them.

22/08/08
Today we managed to establish the entire website and insert some of the buttons. Chris worked on a logo, Doug worked on the buttons, Thorburn found some useful links and I finished establishing the web site and inserted the buttons. The programs we used were Photo impact XL Dreamweaver. I learned that it is extremely hard to establish a website.

25/08/08
Today we established the buttons for our website and linked them up, we accomplished making backgrounds for our website established them on our pages and we also got the links and bibliography and put them on our webpage. Thorburn did the bibliography and the links, Doug did some better backgrounds, Chris helped Thorburn make some more buttons and helped Thorburn get some links and I put the buttons and the links and bibliography on the site and linked up the new buttons. I learned that if the team worked together we can get heaps of work done. The programs that we used were Word 2007, photo impact and Dreamweaver.

29/08/08
Today we worked on getting information and statistics. Doug worked on define the topic part of the of the website, Chris finished the about us page and started the How To Help page, Thorburn transferred eight graphs on to my account and changed the format of the documents so that they will work on Dreamweaver and I Worked on Why we chose this topic, helped Doug do the Define the and I put Why we chose this topic on the webpage. The programs that we used were Photo impact XL, Word 2007 and Dreamweaver. I learned that Doug Is easily distracted and if he isn’t told what to do he doesn’t do it.

02/09/08
Today we worked on fixing up the graphs so that they would suit the website and we worked on the About Us, How To Help and on the timeline sections of the website. Today I worked on the timeline section, Thorburn fixed up our graphs so that they would suit the website, Chris worked on How To Help and About Us and Doug, because he couldn’t be here for all of the lesson he only got a paragraph of About Us done. Today the programs that we used were Dreamweaver and Word 2007. This week I learned that Chris is a really hard worker and can get a lot done if he puts his mind to it.

4/09/08
Today we finished the website. Chris finished of the time line, Thorburn sorted out the pictures and I got everything together and put them on the website, Doug I’m afraid did nothing. Today the programs we used were Dreamweaver and Word 2007. This lesson I learnt that creating a website is a lot of hard work.

Friday 15th, August
Today our group worked on backgrounds, titles and buttons. I made the buttons and I learned how to use photo impact XL to make buttons, so I can now use these skills to make different items.  Next lesson I want to put our background and our buttons on the website and start work on our Content.  In all, we put a lot of work in today and we got a lot accomplished.

Friday 22nd, August
Today we put most of the buttons on the website, we made a logo and we made some backgrounds.  What I want to do in the next lesson is put the backgrounds and the logos in and start working on the text.  I learned how to transfer documents and make background colours.  In the end we didn’t get much accomplished so we’ll have to work extra hard next lesson.

Friday 29th, August
Today we started our information and the about us page is nearly finished.  The webpage looks great and next lesson we are going to put all our information into our website and then clean up the website. In all, we need to do a lot next lesson if we are to finish this on time.

Tuesday 2nd, September
Today we managed to nearly finish our about us page, we started on our timeline and we have finished the statistic graphs.  Next lesson I hope to finish our website and start patching it up a bit. In all, we need to work faster, higher, larger, stronger to get this website finished in time.

Thursday 4th, September
Today we are a whisker away from having our website finished all we have to do is put our time line in and patch it up. The Next lesson will be our last on this website and I hope that we can finish it and get it up and running.

Friday 22nd, August
Today our group put most of the buttons on and we designed a logo for our website, we decided on a background.  Next week we will hopefully be able to have all our backgrounds and buttons ready for use so that we can start on the information on our site.  I learned that the more effort you put into making the site the better it will be.

Monday 25th, August
Today our group got the buttons on the website working, we also applied the backgrounds.  I feel that Ben is feeling a little bit stressed as he has to do the links, we should help him out a bit.  Today I think that I work a little bit harder and make my work better.  All round I think our group is working well and the website is coming along nicely.

Friday 29th, August
Today we started adding the information onto our site, we finished our about us page and began our how to help and why we chose the topic.  I think I worked really well today, although Doug is sponging more than he’s working, so we haven’t got as much done as we could have.  Besides this we are working extremely well and should have the website finished next lesson.

 
Tuesday 2nd, September
We haven’t been able to get as much done as we could have because Doug was at a music lesson.  We managed to get our statistics done but we haven’t added them onto our site.  Besides this set back we are cruising and will hopefully get our site done on time.  Ben has been working so hard and so has Thorburn and we are happy.

Thursday 4th, September
We have nearly completed our website and we just have to add the journals to it and our slide show.  Today we all worked hard and managed to do my bit.  Ben and Thorburn worked hard as well and we are going to get it finished.  We are going well.

Today our group work on our web site and I made the background with PhotoImpact XL and Douglas did the buttons with PhotoImpact XL and Benny made the Titles with Adobe Flash.

I made a background with PhotoImpact Background designer.

I learnt that the background can be small and cove the whole Web page.

I would like work more on the Bibliography.

20/8/08

Today I worked on the main page button in PhotoImpact for our web site button.

I learnt that Douglas sucks at making buttons and stuffed our whole group.

Next week I would like to fix our web site buttons
and make the rest of the back grounds for every link on our web site.

Today I went and made and finished the main page button that has been put on our web by Benny.

I started getting link to other web site.

Next time I will work on the links and information .

25/8/08
Today I worked on the Bibliography  and Links and finished them.

It has really come to gather and is looking good.

Next week I will work on my about us.

29/8/08

Today I worked on the information Graphs of mine and Douglas and made them in to a gif for Benny to put on our web site.

Next time I will finish getting all the graph to gather for our web site.

Today I finished all of Douglas’ graphs and fixed them all up for placing on the web site of ours.

Today day I learnt how hard it is to fix up graphs.

Next time I will get photos for the time for the launch of our web site.

Today I finished getting all the photos and the pressure is killing me and Douglas is a terrible sponger and wouldn’t work with him ever again
In my whole school life ever.

Today day I learnt that we work great as a group and not including Douglas.

Next time we will have to launch our web site.
