Ubirr

Ubirr is located in the Kakadu National Park in the Northern Territory, Australia. Ubirr is located in the Nadab floodplain. Ubirr is most famous for its rock art and contains many Aboriginal rock paintings. It’s spectacular to view Ubirr and the floodplains at sunrise and sunset due to the rocks and rock art changing colours. You can access Ubirr by a sealed car drive for 40km from Jabiru. When arrived, there is a short walk from the car park to view the rock art and takes to the foot of Ubirr Rock. Most of the rock art has been there for 2000 years, but over time has been painted and repainted to keep maintained.
