How you can help:

If you have a problem with the development on the Hervey Bay Esplanade you can go speak… Or organize a meeting with a council member about your issue or problem. Discuss the matter with the council member and give suggestions. You can also suggest how they could make it safer and more… “Child friendly”.

You can also go to Mrs. Helen Latham at the Fraser Coast Regional Council chambers building.

She gave us a lot of information and was very helpful to us. We ourselves were a bit concerned with the development but now that Helen has explained and shown us the designs for the water park, it is acctually a very good idea. It uses recycled water and amazingly enough has huge water jets going over the roads.

It was on the news we were amazed at how well designed it was and how precise the diagrams were… they were spectacular! The most sensible idea to help is to go and see a council member. So if you want to go give some of your issues or our ideas try and go see someone about it now because the council is planning to start developing late 2008.
