Hi, My name is Bonnie. The reason why I chose to do my project on Damming the Mary River on negative side is because I love animals and the animals that have lived in the Mary River. Claire has the animals the dam will affect. When I searched the internet I couldn't believe that the government is letting the people build the dam. I mean, don't you like the mary dam? Do you want the Mary River to be flooded? Do you want to sacrifice our beautiful animals just for the Dam?
Think about the people who had lived in Mary Valley for nearly all their lives and now they must be weeping every single day and talking about how bad it is to flood there valley. Did the people in Mary Valley get to choose if they wanted to move or wanted the government to Dam the Mary Valley. if the government lets the people who build the dam build it, then it will distry some of the roads in Bruce highway and we will all have to drive around the Mary Dam which is going to be called the traveston Dam and will make ita longer way to other cities if you drive on Bruce highway.
What are you doing just standing/sitting there you need to do something fast about Damming the Mary River!Do you want our Mary River to turn into Murray River which was built into a dam and now in a dreadful situation the dam is slowly ying). i know you don't care because it has nothing to do with you but it will!
I know you are thinking maybe you shouldn't do anything about it because you are not part of it, but look outside and see the wonderful veiw of the grass and your whole street! Think about Mary Valley and the valleys wonderful veiw. What do you think would happen to your street if your street was in Mary Valley?
This, I hope will do something about Damming and try to stop it. Please try to stop the Traveston Dam to go on!This is going to make lots of people happy and you might think that doing so will make you happy as well as everyone else! SAVE THE MARY RIVER!!!
