I do not want the Mary River to be dammed. It will ruin some peoples lives
by either flooding their homes or not letting them go boating.

SAVE THE MARY RIVER
I am unhappy with the decision the Queensland government has made in damming the Mary River. I used to live in Victoria, so I know what it's like to dam something. while I lived there, I learnt that the 'famous' Murray River was dammed. But eventually, the river dried up. Only a little bit of the river remains. I'm not sure if the Mary River will turn out like that, I think it won't be as bad. But, better no dam rather than risk the Mary River's future...
