How to perform to the best of your ability in sport.

Eating Right
When you are doing sport it is very important to eat right. Pasta, salads, fruit, red meats, and some sugars from sweets and chocolates are all important if you want to do well in sports.

Sleep
Before a big match or game you should go to bed early because if you do you will be able to perform to the best of your ability the next day.

Regular Exercise
You should exercise 4 or 5 times a week for 30-50mins each day. This will keep you fit and energetic but do not over do it. Change around the exercises as well so you do not get bored of doing the same one over and over again. At a young age the hardest thing to do is to get motivated so make the exercises fun, do them with a friend or family member.

Types of Exercise
Aerobic Exercise – For your heart. E.g. Running
Anaerobic Exercise – Builds your muscles. E.g. Weights, Push ups, Sit ups
