Preparations

Something to Remember when Adventuring in Regional Australian lands is that they are made up of many, many different terrains. You will find civilised roads to worn tracks, desert sand dunes to forest mountains. Its a big, bad world out there and Mother Nature's at the top of the food chain.

Be prepared! Pack essential items, such as

-Water

-Food

-A map of the area

- A compass

-Rope

-Matches

- A knife

-A torch or spotlight, &

-A first-aid kit

Also, be sure to wear proper clothing suitable for your area. Try and pack light to make the journet more enjoyable, and unexperienced adventurers should always travel and explore in groups.

Make sure somebody always knows where you are, aswell. If in remote areas, travel with a mobile phone so as to update those people of your whereabouts. Try not to carry too much cash, either. If near any form of outlet or bank, simply take a back-account card so that you can make deposits at any time.
