For our website we have chosen whaling because it effects all of Hervey Bay and if it continues it would effect all our lives. Imogens family for example owns a whale watching company Whalesong Cruises in Hervey Bay and if the whales stopped coming to Hervey Bay or became extinct Imogen's company would go out of business. This, in turn would effect the rest of Hervey bay if their was no more tourism all of the whale watching companies would go out of business and there would be less people in Hervey Bay to spend money on other businesses causing a chain reaction.
