The current whaling laws in Australia are that no one is allowed to kill and type of whales inside Australian waters, for commercial or scientific purposes.
Everyone thinks that if Australia does something drastic, that maybe Japan will stop trading their exports with us.
We think that if we can get enough countries to stop trading their products with Japan until they stop whaling, Japan will have to stop whaling. They would have to stop because they have very poor natural resources to rely on to make their own goods.
