31st July- For my S.O.S.E project I decided to do development of the esplanade. When I thought about it hard I thought that I should narrow it out to one suburb of the esplanade. My partner is Gia, it worked out well because we are Best friends and we get along very well and it is easy to go to each others places and do the assignment. For part one I had to make a survey and for part 2 I had to make an information poster.
On the holidays I didn’t do much but I did decide on what I was going to do for part 1 & 2. For part 1 Gia and I asked the class 7 questions for my survey. It was a bit had because the class would not be quiet but eventually we got the questions answered. For part 2 I did on my own at home it took a long time because I kept on getting distracted and really bored. Dad helped me a little bit because when I had already done more than an hour I was getting annoyed with the thing.
Gia is doing a lot to help with the project and is definitely doing her bit. On the first weekend end of the term I went to Gia’s shop and we went to some business and asked my survey questions. When we got the answers to the survey we made a draft that took us the most of day because we had a lot of breaks. Thanks to the assignment I got to sleepover at Gia’s to ‘complete’ the assignment.
When I went to type part two my computer kept on restarting and it didn’t save and that got really annoying. So I went back to the computer later and typed it up.
27th August- Gia and I have done a lot since last time I wrote. Gia and I have started our web site and I have finished my task, home and poster page. It was confusing using dream weaver at the start but now I’m fine with the program.
29th August- Today Gia and I are working on dream weaver. I’m typing up my survey because I left my other copy with my dad, but he has gone back to Dubai. Gia has taken over because she is a super fast typer so it will take half the time.
2nd September- Today Gia and I have gotten all of our pages on the one computer. Gia did the hyper links because I don’t know how to do the hyper links. At the end of the lesson we should be done. So we’ll be done by Thursday.
4th September- today Gia and are going to summit our web page today. Fingers crossed : )
