Our team chose Graffiti so we could address the vandalism and disgrace in regional Australia and what graffiti can do to walls, signs and much more. We all live in Hervey Bay and most students and average citizens see graffiti every day. It makes our local region look like a hell hole. I and our team had seen kids at the age of NINE spraying on walls, concrete, signs and shopping centers. It just gives the thought of ‘this city isn’t safe for my child’. We would think that this is disgusting and outrageous and that we should stop it, but no one has done anything about it. Graffiti and other vandalism cost councils thousands of dollars each year. Since youths and teens are vandalizing the regional area, the council is wasting money on repairing the damage. If these youths stop spraying, our council can start spending money on other things like water parks and so on. This is why we have chosen Graffiti.
