Habitat
This snake is very rare to see in the wild although it is not endangered. These snakes can be sited across the entire coast line of Australia

Description
The back, upper sides and tail may be yellowish, reddish brown, dark brown or blackish brown, and its head is a light creamy color. It grows to about 2m.

Interesting Facts
Like its cousins the Inland taipan this snake is extremely poisonous it’s the 3rd most venomous snake in the world.

What they eat
The Costal Taipan will eat a wide range of birds, mice and even small mammals

Predators
This snake is the 3rd most venomous snake on the planet so only man poses a threat.

Life

This snake can live to be up to 18 years
