Habitat
The Death Adder is found everywhere in Australia but Victoria and Tasmania. It is also found in Papua New Guinea.
Description
The death adder has a triangle looking head with a flat body; the maximum length for a death adder is just over 1m. It fangs are about 6cm long.

The Death Adder is the ninth most deadly snake in the world. The Death Adder is often referred to as a Deaf Adder because it stays put when it is near humans. The death adder is the fastest striking snake in the world.
What they eat
The common adder has a rather large variety of food they eat, birds, reptiles and even small mammals.
Predators
Being in the top 10 most venomous snakes this reptile doesn’t have many predators although it can be common for birds to kill and eat them.
Life
A lucky death adder may live to be 18 years of age, although once the snake has layed its eggs and they have hatched a baby snake is very easy prey.
