Antarctica is truly beautiful place. It is remote, hostile, and abundant in life, even thought you might not be able to see it. Its ecosystem is very fragile and something like the hunting of whales can upset the balance that Antarctica needs to sustain its existence. Whaling in the past 100 years has rocketed, and even though there are laws to prevent this, whale populations are dwindling, and something else has to be done.
